Kyra minturn
KyraMinturn, born 19th August, 1965 is an American actress. Her most well-known work is playing the role of Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (TVN crime drama The Closer). Sedgwick was honored with a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for her portrayal as Johnson in 2007. The show ended on August 13th, 2012 following the completion of the seventh season. Sedgwick is also well-known for her role in the show in the role of Madeline Wuntch on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick was nominated for the Golden Globe for her role in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other roles in films include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Ones (1992), Heart and Souls-1993), Phenomenon (1996) and What's cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2013). Sedgwick was a New York City native, the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald), an educator and therapist for families and Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI, a venture capitalist. Her mother was Jewish. Her father was Episcopalian of English descent. Sedgwick has openly declared her Jewish heritage and has said she is a part of Passover seders.
