Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie (born on November 24, 1982) is an American political commentator. Her past roles included being a presidential candidate and a TV host at MSNBC. She's also frequently a contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and co-host of The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they were leaving the show at the end of May in 2021. They wanted to start their own venture, called Breaking Points. Ball is co-hosting Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has made guest appearances on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball says that her fascination with politics due to the fact that she became pregnant during the 2008 presidential primaries, and watching the outcome of the 2008 US presidential election while working in Jordan. She was able see the impact it had on the citizens of her country and developed an appreciation for the global reach of US politics. She was part of the Senior Fellowship member of the New Leaders Council. Ball was nominated by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1stCongressional District in the 2010 elections. However, she was defeated by Rob Wittman. She was the host of The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 through July 2015. In May 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action committee working for Democratic causes.
